The Lisburn Book Committee is working on a new book about Lisburn and the Lisburn Community. The new book will include more detailed histories of our town, its buildings, residents and various businesses that have been located here. Plus a few surprises. It will complement our book of 1976.
Because of the time involved to put the new book together, we plan to have a reprint of our 1976 book done later this year.
The Memorial Section of the new book will include:
The name and dates of birth and death for $1.00 per name.
The Business Section will include:
names of the business that sponsor us.

In our new book about Lisburn and the Lisburn Community, we would like to honor our Veterans. If you are a veteran or know a veteran, who resides or has resided in the Lisburn community and has served in the active military in any branch of the service, including the National Guard who stood ready on the home front to serve at a moment’s notice, please let us know. This includes those who served from the 1700s to the current day.
We would like as much information as possible such as name, rank, years of service and branch of service. Include pictures if possible.
